Fund Raising Party, October 2008
Hi Chris Once again......... a HUGE thanks to Grooveshack for a FANTASTIC night at Burgoyne on Saturday 25th. I spent the day yesterday, returning hire glasses, table decorations, clearing out my car and passing on the money from the ticket sales, bar and raffle. I've had some great comments about the night and quite frankly, you guys should take the credit for creating the great atmosphere and making the night. Some have said it was the best night they've had in ages; 'The band were brilliant'.... ', 'The music was terrific'...... and the positive praise goes on! If you do any 'gig nights' at external venues and not private parties, please let me know where you're playing and I'll gather a Potton crowd and come and support you all. 40th Birthday Party, October 2008
I don't know where to start!
Well firstly the whole band sounded great, every one there loved the band and the type of music you play. It seemed that you were playing for the whole night, and every minute was entertaining. I know that Carrie fronting the band is the full on entertainer, that is not to take anything away from the rest of the band, who play their part completely.
Obviously I enjoyed the evening, but it seemed to me that the band seemed to be enjoying themselves as well, which comes across in the fun and energy in the performance.
I can't thank you enough for making my 40th birthday really special.
I find myself now looking for an excuse for another party, and will be in touch to book you again as soon as i find a reason.

Suprise Birthday Party, October 2008
Hi Chris On the next day following the gig I went off on a business trip; hence this is my first opportunity to follow up on the thanks I initially gave you at the end of Saturday night. We have received tremendous feedback on the event from our family and friends and they have all commented on how fantastically and brilliantly the band performed. The band was the ideal choice for the occasion and provided everything I had hoped for in terms of the music and performance I wanted for my wife's birthday celebration. Hi Chris, This is a very belated thank you for performing at our wedding back on 5 th September. You guys were amazing and so many people have since commented on what a great band you are and how you really made the night. You were all brilliant sports what with a bride and bridesmaids trying to take over your instruments as well as a groom and a best man wanting to play karaoke at the end of the night! I hope we didn't make things too difficult for you! You can rest assured that we will recommend you far and wide and will hopefully come and see you play again at some point in the near future! Dear Chris
We are writing to thank you and the band for a brilliant performance at our wedding last Saturday. Everyone has commented how fantastic you were and the on the quality of music you played.
As you may know I sung in a very popular band and have a little knowledge and experience of live music, and your performance was outstanding. I also had many ‘muso's at the wedding and they all had the most positive and favourable of remarks to pass on to you. They commented on how professional and ‘tight' you all were, the quality and selection of music was outstanding and your stage presence was excellent. The only fault they found was that the dance floor was not big enough to cater for everyone who wanted to dance and party all night long with you.
You carried the crowd along and made a great day brilliant and I will continue to ‘sing your praises' to whoever will listen to me. You have established yourselves in Norfolk as an energetic, effervescent and chic band that enthrals and delights its audience and I will wholeheartedly recommend you to everyone I know.
Well done and thank you for an unbelievably good job and tremendously successful night.

Birthday party december 2006

My thanks to the band for making my 60th birthday party go with such a swing (or should that be groove) on Saturday. When I was a young 'un I used to spend a lot of time listening to the great Jazz influended British R 'n' B bands of the early/mid sixties. Bands like Georgie Fame & the Blue Flames, Zoot Money's Big Roll Band and the Graham Bond Organisation. Those days are long gone but I had in the back of my mind that I would like to re-create that 60s Club feel at my party. Things move on and the music has changed but I think you guys came pretty close to matching the sound and feel of those great bands. The feedback I have had from others at the party has been outstanding. May I wish the band every success for 2007 and beyond. Let me know when the CD is ready because I know of several buyers! BBQ Garden Party, August 2005
Dear Chris and Mike
Thank you so much for ensuring our bbq on Saturday was the best ever.
Even the rain couldn't spoil the atmosphere and everyone was telling
us how much they were enjoying the band. Please convey my gratitude
to the other members. The "problem" child from next door apparently
was demanding that you should play on Sunday night as well as he wanted
to see you again.
Hopefully you may get some future bookings from the gig. One neighbour
wants to know when you are next playing locally so they can come and
see you, so let me know.

BBQ Garden Party at Ayot Green, Summer 2005
Thank you very much for last Saturday. We had a fantastic time and although we had to motivate a few it was worth it. The feed back today was great and they all want to come back next year! They don't realise how much work it was to get everything ready but it doesn't really matter as we know it is a great place to have a party. I couldn't move the next day and don't normally dance as I have had two lots of back surgery but my Doctor husband said we had a good work out, no sympathy there!!
